Martina Trchová is a singer-songwriter from Prague. She was born on
14th February 1983 and has been appearing on Czech stages since she
was seventeen. She has been awarded several awards since then (Zahrada,
Porta, Folkový Kvítek,…) and she has also been on TV (in programmes
'Na moll' and 'Pod lampiony'). Her debut album Čerstvě natřeno (Wet
paint) was released in 2005 (by Indies Records) and it received high
acclaim from critics. For this album she cooperated with many great
musicians like contrabass player František Raba , accordionist Mário
Bihári, guitarists Jan-Matěj Rak, Zdeněk Vřešťál and Vít Sázavský.
